Terms of Service

In summary - please be clear with your desired result, pay in a timely manner, and don't make money off my art unless we discuss it first.

1. Commission Process

a. If slots are available, you should contact me with information regarding what you would like to receive- the subject, art tier, if you have a preferred deadline and any other relevant information. Templates are available. It is asked that you have the required funds available when inquiring, as reservations are not available.
b. If I confirm the commission, you will pay full price upfront. I will then send an invoice.
c. Once payment has been confirmed, I begin work on the commission.
d. Upon completion, I will send you the finished product if the owed amount has been paid.

2. Usage and Privacy

a. Unless otherwise specified, my commissions are for personal use only.
b. You may freely modify and post the product elsewhere, with or without credit to myself.
c. You may not claim that you or anyone else besides myself created the artwork.
d. You may not use my artwork for monetary gain. You may not use my artwork as a major aspect of a sold product, physical or digital. This includes:
e. You may not put my artwork behind a paywall or paid membership, such as Patreon.
f. By purchasing a non-private commission, you agree to allow me to:
g. If you find these conditions to be disagreeable, feel free to ask to discuss an agreement tailored more toward your preference.

3. Deadlines and Delays

a. It should be noted that I have a chronic neurological disease and from time to time I may be unresponsive for a few days due to unpredictable relapse. Please don't worry as I will notify you as soon as I can. These issues do not last more than a week at a time.
b. Depending on various factors such as workload and complexity, commission should usually take anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks. If no serious unforeseen circumstances occur, the absolute deadline is 2 months. After 2 months, the commissioner may choose to either receive a full refund, or continue to wait until their piece is finished. Very rare exceptions are made for major unforeseen circumstances. This includes sudden personal emergencies or situations in which I do not have access to the necessary resources to complete commissions. Minor occurrences are not included in this exception. During unforeseen circumstances, deadlines may be frozen in place for up to one additional month for a total of 3. It should be noted that this means refunds may also be delayed by such an amount of time.
c. Commissioners who are unresponsive to progress updates for over a 2 weeks will have the commissions cancelled and an appropriate refund will be attempted.

4. Progress Updates

a. The following may not be applicable to very basic and quick options such as sketches.
b. I will send progress updates after each major stage of development. This is to confirm that the piece is satisfactory to the customer, and modifications may be made until such. Progress continues once approval is received. The client may request progress updates between major stages of development. If considerable progress has been made, an update will be sent went possible. It is asked that you do not send progress requests overly often.

5. Refunds

a. Full refunds are available until the sketch has been approved and work begins on further stages. After this point, refunds will be 50%. I do not offer refunds for finished or near finished pieces.

6. Edits and Corrections

a. Mistakes or other mishaps within the artwork should not occur far into the art progress, due to progress updates being approved by the commissioner. However, if a correction needs to be made due to my fault, it will be done so free of charge. Dissatisfactory aspects that are the result of the commissioner's actions, however, will not be compensated. This includes poor communication of desired image, or changing one's mind after a progress update has been approved. Desired edits will cost extra depending on the amount of work required.

7. Blacklisting

a. If a commissioner fails to pay, has egregiously offensive behavior, or repeatedly breaks the agreed terms, they may be denied further purchases and publicly listed as to help other artists detect scammers and other intolerably behaving clients.
